Administrative Assistant

This Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative and business support to the Merchandise Buying & Planning Department of the company. This individual will be responsible for performing an array of administrative functions requiring a high degree of confidence, enthusiasm and problem solving capabilities. Duties will include generating reports, arranging travel, maintaining files, scheduling, fielding telephone calls and correspondence, and other general administrative duties. The successful candidate must have a track record of executing all responsibilities with complete discretion and confidentiality. This full-time position works a Monday - Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications Include::

  • Must have at least five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a fast-paced professional organization.
  • Experience with/Microsoft office suite including advanced Word and Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.

Ski Technician

This is a full-time seasonal position starting in late November. Responsibilities include outfitting customers with proper equipment in a timely and friendly manner; fitting boots, adjusting bindings, and mounting bindings; assisting in the selling of retail merchandise; and keeping the store organized and inviting. Previous ski shop experience preferred; strong knowledge of skis, bindings, and boots required; outstanding customer service and follow-up skills required; and ability to stand for several hours/day required.

At Gorsuch we offer the most cutting edge boot fitting technology available on the market. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced bootfitters to provide exceptional boot fitting services, including custom footbed fabrication, boot shell modifications, liner modifications and stance alignment. You will use a state of the art 3D-scanner to obtain images and precise measurements of customer’s foot and lower leg to determine the optimal fit. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a high level of snowsports industry product knowledge and have a passion for the industry. Previous boot fitting experience and retail sales experience required. Order Fulfillment & Packaging

Fulfill customer catalog and online orders, verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties:

  • Receives and reads customer order to identify item(s) to be pulled.
  • Verifies stock availability.
  • Prepares orders for wrapping, packing, and shipping.
  • Prepares and maintains records.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Determines method of shipment.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Informs Shipping Supervisor when inventory and supplies are low.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
