Catalog Manager

Gorsuch is looking for a talented and passionate Catalog Co-Manager with strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail to manage the day-to-day operations of our catalog department.

The Catalog Managers are primarily responsible for the overall project schedule and ensure that each catalog project proceeds according to both schedule and budget. He/she will also be responsible for the coordination of all photography for our catalogs. This involves scheduling shoots, booking freelance talent including models, photographers, and stylists; as well as arranging all travel and lodging for both internal staff and freelance talent. He/she will coordinate with the Merchandising and E-Commerce departments to collect necessary product descriptions and pricing. This individual will maintain quality control of the catalog, ensuring all information is accurate and that product and pricing updates are consistent with our website. Responsibilities also include measuring and reporting on category/item performance as well as providing suggestions on continuous improvement strategies to improve catalog performance.

This position will also assist in all supervisory functions of the catalog call center including hiring, training and overseeing call center and customer service team members. This position is based in Avon, CO and is an in-house role. Two to three weeks of travel per year is expected of this position.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Management or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous retail and fashion industry experience.
  • Five years minimum experience in either the e-commerce or catalog division of a multi-channel retail operation.
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, etc.)
  • Familiarity with InDesign and/or other various Catalog production software programs.
  • Experience with photo shoots including scheduling of photo shoots; booking talent such as photographers, stylists, and models helpful.
  • Understanding of design and catalog layouts, digital photography, graphic fundamentals, and typography.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of branding and the customer experience.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, proactive, able to work independently while also contributing to team effort.
  • Strong leadership skills.

Administrative Assistant

This Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative and business support to the Owner of the company. This individual will be responsible for performing an array of administrative functions requiring a high degree of confidence, enthusiasm and problem solving capabilities. Duties will include generating reports, arranging travel, maintaining files, scheduling, fielding telephone calls and correspondence, and other general administrative duties. The successful candidate must have a track record of executing all responsibilities with complete discretion and confidentiality. This full-time position reports directly to the Owner and works a Monday - Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Must have at least five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a fast-paced professional organization.
  • Experience with/Microsoft office suite including advanced Word and Excel skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.

Distribution Warehouse Manager

This position is located in our Eagle-Vail, Colorado location and is responsible for the daily operations of our warehouse. Job duties include: Plan and direct the daily operations including receiving, marking, warehousing, distribution and maintenance. Maintaining inventory accuracy by following our inventory management protocol. Maintaining an organized, clean and safe warehouse environment and enforcing all OSHA guidelines and regulations. Managing budget and controlling expenses effectively. Fleet management.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; assigning daily work assignments; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from four year accredited college or university and a minimum of seven years of related experience in a distribution or warehouse environment. Proficient is warehouse management system methodology and concepts. Knowledge of Aptos (formerly Epicor) retail software helpful. Proficiency in Excel and Word required. Strong leadership skills and exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
