Human Resource Manager

Gorsuch has a professional opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Manager. This position is integral to our organization and is based in our Vail Village location. It is perfect for someone with high energy and enthusiasm for what they do and are looking to pursue their career in HR. The HR Manager will partner with our Operations Team to provide a working environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork towards a common goal. Responsibilities will be to perform a full range of HR duties and provide HR and Operational support to our retail, online and catalog organization that consists of multiple stores in Vail, Aspen, Keystone, Park City as well as our Administrative Departments.

Requirements include:

  • 5 + years’ experience in HR with strong employee relations skills.
  • Experience in payroll processing functions. ADP a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, HRIS systems.
  • Hiring and applicant processing oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field experience.
  • PHR, SPHR preferred.
  • Experience as Management in Retail/Service industry a plus.

Administrative Assistant

This Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative and business support to the Merchandise Buying & Planning Department of the company. This individual will be responsible for performing an array of administrative functions requiring a high degree of confidence, enthusiasm and problem solving capabilities. Duties will include generating reports, arranging travel, maintaining files, scheduling, fielding telephone calls and correspondence, and other general administrative duties. The successful candidate must have a track record of executing all responsibilities with complete discretion and confidentiality. This full-time position works a Monday - Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications Include::

  • Must have at least five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a fast-paced professional organization.
  • Experience with/Microsoft office suite including advanced Word and Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.

Order Fulfillment & Packaging

Fulfill customer catalog and online orders, verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties:

  • Receives and reads customer order to identify item(s) to be pulled.
  • Verifies stock availability.
  • Prepares orders for wrapping, packing, and shipping.
  • Prepares and maintains records.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Determines method of shipment.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

Lead Ski Tuner

Gorsuch in Aspen is currently hiring for an experienced Lead Ski Tuner for the upcoming winter ski season. We are looking for an enthusiastic skier or snowboarder with the ability to lead a team with positive encouraging morale; a high level of attention to detail; and the ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing demands. You will have the opportunity to work with our high-tech Montana ski service machines, offering the most precise tunes in the industry. Applicants must have at least three seasons previous ski tuning experience, familiarity with ASTM binding certifications and testing, a clean driving record, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
