Hungarian-born Ferenc Berko is recognized internationally as an influential contributor to the history of 20th century photography. Berko moved to Aspen in 1949, bringing the avant-garde and modernist aesthetic for the visual landscape to the small mountain towns. The Museum of Modern Art, the International Center for Photography amongst others collect Berko's work. Gorsuch presents a selection of images as a tribute to the photographic heritage and beauty of our mountain communities.
